Touch-a-Truck – May 4, 2025
RVSD had a great time connecting with the community at the Touch-a-Truck event benefiting the new Larkspur Library. Our team showcased equipment and shared how we maintain essential sewer infrastructure. Thanks to all who stopped by—we’re proud to support events that bring awareness to the work we do every day!

Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies 

125th Anniversary & Headquarters Ribbon Cutting – May 28, 2024
RVSD proudly celebrated 125 years of service to Marin County with a special anniversary and ribbon cutting ceremony for our headquarters consolidation. Established on May 27, 1899, RVSD is California’s oldest sewer district. The event honored our legacy of protecting public health and the environment, while marking a new chapter of continued service and operational efficiency.

Pump Sation 14 Ribbon Cutting – July 19, 2023
Community members and local officials joined RVSD to celebrate the completion of upgrades at Pump Station 14 (PS 14) in Larkspur. This event, held at PS 14 on Doherty Drive next to Hall Middle School, marked the end of an era of accelerated capital projects and RVSD’s statewide “Small Collection System of the Year” award.

Pump Sation 12 & 13 Ribbon Cutting – June 11, 2019
RVSD celebrated the completion of major upgrades at Pump Stations 12 and 13 in Bon Air, Greenbrae with a community ribbon cutting ceremony. The event highlighted the innovative odor and noise control systems now in place, along with other improvements that enhance service reliability and environmental protection. Attendees enjoyed tours, demonstrations of our field equipment and robotics, and learned more about the vital infrastructure that supports public health in our community.
